Black Palmwood

Black palm, face grain	black palm, endgrain

This wood is a natural for my work; it stars its endgrain. I actually haven't made anything with it yet, but I have many ideas. And I promise they'll be cool! Until then, I can't tell you too much about it. It's hard, heavy, and expensive, from places like Bali, and I'm told it's a nightmare to turn. But what endgrain! Like lizard-skin.
