Ebony Inlay Box
This is a very special ring box we made for the founder of a major Internet dating web-site, to propose to his fiancée. It features inlaid holly fine-lined hearts, and satinwood marquetry monogram, and a little box-within-a-box to present the ring when the box is opened.
I have more of the heart inlay banding, and could make you a
similar box with about three weeks notice for about $195.

Inlaid Monogram Ring Box
I'm a little obsessed with making ring boxes. I made a few of these cases with tops framed in ebony, intending to offer them as canvasses for custom monogrammed engagement ring boxes. So here they are, in bubinga shown here, and next frame in maple. I can offer them without the inlay for $80, or with an inlaid monogram (the cursive style shown, with the letters wrapping 'round each other is nice, but I can do whatever you'd like) for $145. Bird's Eye Monogram Inlay Box

Inlaid Scull Ring Box
This was a commission for a man who owns a replica of a ring worn by Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones with a tiny human skull on it. Figured walnut case with walnut burl top inlaid with birds-eye maple. There are fine engraving lines, especially at the teeth, that show better with the enlargement.

Here's an open shot of the skull box showing the stealthy hinges and tiny magnetic catch that make these boxes operate so neatly, and the black velvet covered foam pad we make to house the ring.
Carved Marine Ring Box
This custom ring box was inlaid proud of the surface and then carved, in minute detail, with the US Marine insignia. The box is koa, with baliwood inlay, which accepts great carved detail. About $125 for a box like this.
Custom engraved Ring Box
Here's a picture of carved text in the bottom of a ring box. We can do this sort of carving on the inside of some ring boxes lids, or on their bottoms, for an extra $12 or so. The surface shown is 1.75" square, to get an idea of the kind if detail we can carve.
